چکیده

This work considers the problem of control actuator fault detection and isolation and fault-tolerant control for a multi-input multi-output nonlinear system subject to constraints on the manipulated inputs and proposes a fault detection and isolation filter and controller reconfiguration design. The implementation of the fault detection and isolation filters and reconfiguration strategy are demonstrated via a chemical process example. 2007 Elsevier Ltd. All rights reserved.

Fault Detection and Isolation of Multi-Agent Systems via Complex Laplacian

This paper studies the problem of fault detection and isolation (FDI) for multi-agent systems (MAS) via complex Laplacian subject to actuator faults. A planar formation of point agents in the plane using simple and linear interaction rules related to complex Laplacian is achieved. The communication network is a directed, and yet connected graph with a fixed topology. The loss of symmetry in the...

Sensor Fault Detection for a class of Uncertain Nonlinear Systems Using ‎Sliding Mode Observers

This paper deals with the issues of sensor fault detection for a class of Lipschitz uncertain nonlinear system. By definition coordinate transformation matrix for system states and output system, at first the original system divided into two subsystems. the first subsystem includes uncertainties but without any sensor faults and the second subsystem has sensor faults but is free of uncertaintie...

Quadrotor Accelerometer and Gyroscope Sensor Fault Diagnosis Using Nonlinear Adaptive Estimation Methods

This paper presents the design, analysis, and real-time experimental evaluation results of a nonlinear sensor fault diagnosis scheme for quadrotor unmanned air vehicles (UAV). The objective is to detect, isolate, and estimate sensor bias faults in accelerometer and gyroscope measurements. Based on the quadrotor dynamics and sensor models under consideration, the effects of sensor faults are rep...

A Geometric Approach to Diagnosis Applied to a Ship Propulsion Problem

A geometric approach to FDI diagnosis for input-affine nonlinear systems is briefly described and applied to a ship propulsion benchmark. The analysis method is used to examine the possibility of detecting and isolating predefined faults in the system. The considered faults cover sensor, actuator, and parameter faults.

The Coupling Relationship among Process Faults, Actuator Faults and Sensor Faults for a Typical MIMO Dynamic System

For a typical MIMO (Multiple-Input Multiple-Output) nonlinear dynamic system, fault detection and isolation usually aim at process faults with an assumption that actuator faults and sensor faults do not occur at the same time, which is not always the case. This paper uses Extended State Observer for real-time process fault detection and fuzzy inference for fault isolation. It then investigates ...
